The design was awarded after an Architectural Competition It includes a public square with fountains, poles for the United Arab Emirates flags, a garden and an open air theatre The Municipality Building accomodates a Conference Hall with 600 seats, The Department for Urban Planning, the Administration Service and the Social Service Department The Complex includes a Mosque, a Library, the Municipal Museum and Exhibition Halls, etc.
